Formulation Overview

HA BASE is a precision-engineered dual molecular weight Sodium Hyaluronate concentrate that exploits the fundamentally different biophysical behaviour of medium and low MW fractions within the dermis. The medium MW fraction (>1,000 kDa) forms a mechanically resistant, viscoelastic aqueous gel at the mid-dermal level, restoring structural volume and recreating the dermal scaffold lost through chronological aging and photoaging. The low MW fraction (<500 kDa) penetrates to deeper dermal layers, accessing the extracellular matrix compartments where HA turnover is highest and where hydration is most physiologically consequential for fibroblast function and collagen homeostasis. Calibrated osmolality (290-310 mOsm/kg) and physiological phosphate buffering (pH 6.8-7.4) minimise intradermal inflammatory response and maximise bioavailability across all skin types, including compromised and post-procedure barriers.
