WHITEPLUS TXA is a triple-action depigmentation concentrate that attacks melanogenesis through three independent, complementary pathways simultaneously, providing mechanistic comprehensiveness that no single-active brightening protocol can replicate. Tranexamic Acid (TXA) is the primary depigmenting agent: it directly inhibits tyrosinase, the rate-limiting enzyme in melanin biosynthesis, and blocks the plasminogen-plasmin pathway that drives UV-induced prostaglandin release and keratinocyte-melanocyte crosstalk. Glutathione, the body's master antioxidant tripeptide, provides a second independent mechanism: it directly inactivates tyrosinase through copper-chelating binding, simultaneously shifts melanogenesis from the dark eumelanin pathway to the lighter phaeomelanin pathway, and neutralises the reactive oxygen species that upregulate melanocyte activity. Carnosine (beta-alanyl-histidine) completes the triad as an anti-glycation dipeptide that protects collagen and elastin from glycation-induced crosslinking, stimulates collagen synthesis, and provides cellular antioxidant defence throughout the depigmenting process. Buffered to pH 5.90-6.90 and calibrated for physiological osmolality. Indicated and effective across all Fitzpatrick phototypes.
